Talya Arbisser is a Houston based freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer. For more than ten years, she has focused on photojournalism, specializing in sports photography. Recently Arbisser has been concentrating her camera on children with special needs, with a particular interest in blindness.Arbisser holds a BA from Cornell University in sociology with a concentration in Visual Studies. In June of 2009 she graduated from the International Center of Photography in New York City with a certificate in photojournalism and documentary photography. Arbisser has been published in a variety of media and her work has been presented in two solo and several group gallery exhibits. She is available for assignments of any genre and is able to travel upon request. Arbisser especially enjoys working with children and works as a tutor on the side.
