Daniel Berman is a Seattle, Washington-based freelance editorial and commercial photographer with a passion for making engaging, dynamic portraits of those in his community. His training and background in visual journalism have allowed him to explore this amazing region and tell the stories of those he meets. It sure beats a day job. He has worked on assignment for a variety of local and national publications and clients, including Comcast Cable, The Daily Telegraph of London, SeattlePI.com, The FADER, New York Post, New York Daily News, Sagacity Media, Puget Sound Business Journal, The Honolulu Advertiser/Star-Bulletin, University of Alaska-Anchorage and Shoreline Community College. His work often takes him back to Bellingham, a beautiful town near the state’s northern border — it’s where he graduated recently with a degree in visual journalism from Western Washington University.
