What I shot yesterday is yesterday, and today is here, and you have to stay in that moment.
As Wrigley Field opens or the start of the baseball season today, we speak to Steve Green, a ‘lifer’ photographer with The Chicago Cubs. Steve’s 40 year career spans 34 years spent documenting the Chicago Cubs as their official team photographer, including covering their epic victory at the World Series in 2016.
Whether you’re a baseball fan or not, hearing Steve talk about his start (which wasn’t intended to be as a sports photographer at all!) the motivation to keep going, the way our styles of photography adapt to what we need or want to capture, there’s really something for all of us here as Steve opens up on his life and career working with the Cubs.
