Mark Kauzlarich – How I Got The New York Times Photo Internship

Mark KauzlarichMark Kauzlarich is a photojournalist currently interning at The New York Times and a Master’s candidate at the University of Missouri, pursuing a Masters of Arts in Photojournalism. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2012 with a double major in Middle East Studies and Political Science. After graduate school, he hopes to cover U.S. and international politics and social issues in both the United States and post-colonial and post-revolutionary countries. His clients include The New York Times, Reuters, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and others.
