New England Patriots win Super Bowl XLIX – by Andrew Weber

Super Bowl XLIX

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (12) holds the Vince Lombardi Trophy after defeating the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX at University of Phoenix Stadium. Brady was named the games most valuable player.

Toledo, OH-based photographer Andrew Weber covered this year’s Super Bowl for USA Today.

I had the opportunity to spend a week in Phoenix working with the awesome USA Today Sports Images team to document Super Bowl XLIX. It was a long week with long hours, but at the end of the game the images that were made by the team were amazing. All of the logistics and technology that goes into the Super Bowl is like no other event in the country.

Spending two straight days running power and ethernet cable to power three remote cameras in the catwalk along with trying to shoot feature photos through out the city.

The Super Bowl is truly a special event.

Enjoy!
