Commercial and wedding photographer Chip Litherland shares photos of a wedding he shot in Bristol, Vermont.
There are no palm trees in Vermont. I repeat…no palm trees.
That’s ok for this Florida photographer because I love exploring new places and getting a visual break from sun and sand – especially when it’s with a fantastic couple like Emily and Brent. I shot a wedding of their friend and a former bride of mine, Gillian, who recommended me to head up to Vermont and shoot their fall wedding in the hills. I was blown away by the color and light which was a bit different from Florida light in an awesome way. I was even more blown away about how wonderful and fun these guys were to work with especially for someone who admittedly was shy about being photographed. Emily rocked it all day and was open for whatever I wanted to do. Brent and his kids were just as awesome to be around. Overall, it was just one big lovefest complete with pig roast, bluegrass band, and VW photo booth. Sprinkle in a red bard and a great venue like the Inn at Baldwin Creek and you have one fantastic day.
