Denver-based photographer Joe Rogers believes in the power of saying hello to strangers and even wrote a book about it called “I Said Hello.”
Over the years I’ve come to notice that strangers tend not to acknowledge one another when they pass by. No eye contact. No head nod, smile or even a a simple, hello.
Now after eight months on the road and meeting strangers by simply saying hello, I’ve found out that society is capable of so much love and once we realize the fact that lasting peace and true prosperity starts with hello, a simple conversation and the understanding that we are all family, we’ll all be better off.
