NYC-based photographer Daniella Zalcman shot the third and final section of the High Line park before construction begins.
I spent last weekend photographing the High Line for their Rail Yards OHNY event. This is the last month before construction begins on the third and final section of the High Line, and one of the last chances to see the space in its feral, overgrown glory. There’s something magical about walking through the elevated tangle of weeds and wildflowers and trees in the middle of industrial Manhattan (the tracks at 34th Street overlook Hudson Yards) — and I’m glad I got a chance to explore before it’s transformed.
