Seattle-based documentary wedding photographer Lucas Mobley shares photos from a fun wedding he recently shot.
Weddings can be described in so many ways. Some weddings are glamorous and sophisticated, some are decadent. Aaron and Diep’s wedding was amazingly fun and sincere. I arrived early on in the day to photograph as they finished their preparations with the bridal party and family. As Diep finished up, Aaron entertained guests with has fancy vacuum cleaner. I LOVE the moment I captured as Aaron’s dad saw Diep walking down the stairs in her dress. Aaron was blindfolded by his groomsmen, then it was off to Gasworks Park where he was allowed to see Diep for the first time! We had plenty of time to have fun at Gasworks while I captured moments. After that, we grabbed burgers at Blue Moon Burgers, and jumped on the water taxi to West Seattle for the wedding ceremony. At the reception, Puget Sound DJ Alan Chitlick did an out standing job of keeping guests informed and organized while spinning killer music. Salty’s provided great food and an amazing backdrop for the ceremony and reception. All in all, this was such a fun wedding!!
