Sarasota, FL-based editorial photojournalist and wedding photographer Chip Litherland traveled to Harbour Island in The Bahamas to shoot a wedding.

It’s a bride and groom’s worst nightmare, but Daniela and Luis had an absolute resolve to beat Mother Nature and refused to move the ceremony less than an hour to game time as the rain fell hard (as they had been all weekend). When push came to shove, the skies parted and we were treated to some of the most beautiful post-rain shower light and a perfect evening without even a drizzle for these two get the island wedding they wanted.
