Santa Barbara, CA-based freelancer Daniel Ochoa recently traveled to Guatemala and photographed a town fair.
The Town Fair in El Remate Guatemala was quite an experience. It was like a miniature state fair and the kids were loving it. It apparently had something to do with Christmas but it could have been any day of the year.
One thing you realize about kids when you’re traveling is that they are all more or less the same wherever you are. Some are pushy and love your attention and some are shy and wary. These kids all loved the camera and especially love the instant gratification of digital camera LCD screens.
